Milan sign Cissokho from Porto
Milan have officially signed promising wing back Aly Cissokho from FC Porto for a reported £13 million, who along with Thiago silva will re-invigorate an ageing backline. Zambrotta, Nesta, Silva and now Cissokho complete a very good back line, on paper at least, that Milan fans can have a lot more confidence in. Indeed, the average age of the side would have been brought down a little further with this deal as the side is beginning to have a fresh look about it, especially with young Pato up front. The forward line is likely to be the next area of attention for Milan, with Benzema or Edin Dzenko rumoured to be the likely target. Lyon's Benzema would be some coup and it is possible given the funds that the Milan giants have got at the moment. As well as the Kaka sale, let us not forget that they recieved £15 for Gourcuff. There is still some work to be done though, Hernanes from Sao Paolo is another target as Milan look to fill the hole Kaka left.
